We all know that the most common color of our urine is the color of yellow, and it is caused by the presence of a biochemical waste product that was generated from the breakdown of old red blood cells in our body, and it is called urobilin.

Urine's odor, its consistency and even the color can tell you about the lifestyle that you have, your well being, and also ranges from what you eat and drink lately, and of course, it can also tell you of the disease that you might have already and didn't know. There's a total of 10 colors that could tell you if there's a problem with your body, or if you have a disease that you're unaware of.
1. Transparent
Having a colorless or a transparent urine indicates that you're over in hydration, its not as dangerous as dehydration, but being over hydrated can dilute the essential salts, like electrolytes, and that would create a chemical imbalance in the blood.
2. Pale Straw Color
Means that you have a normal, healthy, and well-hydrated body.
3. Transparent Yellow
Means that you have a normal urine, and that's a good sign, so maintain it.
4. Dark Yellow
It means that it's normal, but it also suggest that you're a bit of dehydrated, so drink some more water to keep you hydrated.
5. Amber or Honey Color
This means that you're possibly dehydrated, so make sure to drink 8-9 glasses of water everyday to keep you hydrated. Some would even suggest to drink Gatorade to replenish your body.
6. Light Orange
This means that you're possibly dehydrated, but may also be because of a liver or bile duct problem in your body, or a consumed food dye or also the excretion of excess vitamin B in your bloodstream. It is advisable to take a sample of your urine and talk to your doctor about it.
7. Orange
This means that you're taking some medication, such as rifampin or phenazopyridine, and that can cause the color of orange in your urine, if in case you aren't taking any medicine, but has this color, please consult your doctor about it.
8. Dark Orange or Brown
This means that you have a possible symptom of jaundice, rhabdomyolysis or Gilbert's Syndrome. This can be also caused by severe dehydration, we suggest that you seek medical help when you see that your urine is in this color.
9. Pink
If you peed and see a pink colored urine, you might have been munching on some beets, blueberries, or even rhubarb. If in case that you do eat them, then there's no reason for you to go to a doctor, but if in case that you didn't eat any of the food that we stated, then this might be an indicator to a bigger problem.
10. Red
This might worry you a bit, because having blood in the urine is called hematuria, and that can be benign, idiopathic, or even a sign of a kidney stone, infection, or even a tumor in the urinary tract. I t can also be a sign for a problem in the prostate area, or a possible lead or mercury poisoning. Having a red urine is a red flag so immediately consult a doctor about this.
