Here's What You Should Do When You Encounter Sleep Paralysis!

     Have you ever heard or experienced having a sleep paralysis? Or have you heard your friends' stories about them experiencing one? Sleep paralysis can cause temporary inability to move when you're going to sleep or when you're waking up. Normally you will sufferer a bit and often hallucinate that there's an intruder in the room, sometimes you might even think that they're bad ghosts or spirits that keeps on pinning you down on your bed. It can happen to anybody in every single time you go to sleep, and you've probably never even aware of it.

How to avoid it from happening:

     1. Get enough sleep
     2. Reduce your stress. Keep yourself away from things that may stress your body.
     3. Exercise regularly, but not before going to sleep.
What to do when it happens?:

     1. Don't struggle. Just calm yourself when you have experienced it.

     2. This is very effective. Try moving your finger toes.
  
     3. Move your hands by open and closing it.

     4. Pray, you might notice that you memorized the prayers since you were a child but during mid-way when you're trying to think the prayer on your mind, you'll stop mid-way and you'll eventually repeat it and stop again, then repeat.

     5. Control your breathing. Don't panic and focus on your breathing because most of the time people forgets to breath because of their fear with what's happening to them.

     6. Try to cough as hard as you can. This step can help you wake up.

     7. Frown and pretend as you're angry at someone.

     When you successfully woke up, take some rest but don't sleep yet to avoid sleep paralysis again. It is very advisable to open the lights and wash your face. Drink some cold water also to calm yourself up then take some rest.
